during 18th century british empire become very powerful. english language absorbed words and phrases form the languages of all the countries of the world that were colonized by the british. words like bazaar form persian, coffee from turkish, guru form hindi, sultan form arabic, etc. in this way, the words from all direction entered this language and english become a global language.
